Comparing Hope, Executive Function, and Procrastination in University Students: Implications for a Post-COVID-19 World

Objective: The global pandemic has impacted variously on students’ experiences of education globally. At this time, we must continue to isolate the key components contributing supporting academic performance so that systems can begin reduce impact children’s lives. Methods: We used ex post facto research compare hope, executive functions, and procrastination between students with high low performances. authors hope contribute positively rebuilding our system as move a post-pandemic phase. statistical population consisted performances at University Bojnurd, Bojnurd City, Iran, from 2019 2020. A total 85 were selected samples using available sampling method. data collected behavior rating inventory function for adults, assessment scale students, domain-specific scale. Results: results showed statistically significant difference two groups regarding mean scores functions procrastination. In regard, reduced, but in was significantly higher than high-performance students. group factor predicted amount variance examined components. Nevertheless, there no variable except subscale. Conclusion: have implications understanding use interventions improve outcomes future.
